Commissioning new works in the performing arts is key to Wolf Trap's mission and the Foundation continues to make important contributions to the future of opera and vocal music. Our philosophy is to find the finest artists available, pay them fairly, provide them with artistic freedom, and present their work under the best conditions to the broadest audience possible.
