Wolf Trap Foundation and the National Park Service are proud to present a much-loved series that enables families to spend the summer months introducing children to the thrill of live performance.
With 70 performances from late June through early August, Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods presents family-friendly shows at 10 am and 11:15 am on Tuesdays through Saturdays. Amidst 117 rolling wooded acres and nestled in a shady grove, the stage is set for lively adventures in music, dance, storytelling, puppetry, and theater. All performances are recommended for children between Kindergarten and 6th grade.

Tickets may be purchased at Tickets.com, by calling 1(877)WOLFTRAP, or at the Filene Center Box Office. Pre-purchased tickets may be picked up at the footbridge leading to the Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods. Day of show tickets—IF available—may also be purchased at the footbridge with exact change, check, or credit card. Artist merchandise can also be purchased near the footbridge with cash and check only, when available.
Tickets are required for all performances for adults and children ages 3 and up. Tickets are $8 each for one show or $10 for both shows on the same day. We recommend that patrons purchase tickets in advance because performances quickly sell out.
